Remove front door window glass
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Precondition
- The side window glass must be completely open.
Preliminary work
- Secure the door window glass to the door frame when it is closed using adhesive tape.
- Simultaneously spread both holders (1) so far on the door window glass with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) (2) that the door window glass can be detached.
- Lower the power window.
- Remove adhesive tape from the door window glass.
- Slide the door window glass (1) down.
- Twist the door window glass (1) in the door frame (2).
- Guide the door window glass (1) out to the top.
