Installing the wiring harness section for the sensor system of cylinders 5 to 8

• Route the wiring harness section for the sensor system of cylinders 5 to 8 and secure it with the clamps.
• Route the connector (1)  for the DME control unit of cylinders 5 to 8.
• Connect the connector (2)  to the pressure sensor on the left intake plenum and lock audibly.
• Connect the connector (3)  to the rail pressure sensor and lock it audibly.
• Connect the connector (4)  to the camshaft position sensors and ensure it audibly locks in place.

• Connect the connector (5)  to the high pressure pump and lock audibly.
• Connect and audibly lock the connector (6)  to the hot film air mass meter.
• Connect the connector (7)  to the tank vent valve and lock audibly.
• Connect the connector (8)  to the Lambda oxygen sensor and to the monitoring oxygen sensor and ensure it audibly locks in place.
• Connect the connector (1)  for the wiring harness section for the sensor system of cylinders 1 to 4 and ensure it audibly locks in place.
• Connect the connector (2)  to the electric controller drive of the wastegate valve and lock it audibly.

• Connect the connector (1)  to the knock sensors of cylinders 5 to 8 and ensure it audibly locks in place.

• Connect the connector (1)  to the VANOS exhaust solenoid valve and lock audibly.
• Connect the connector (2)  to the intake VANOS solenoid valve and lock audibly.
• Connect the connector (3)  to the air conditioning compressor and lock audibly.
• Connect the connector (4)  to the boost pressure sensor and lock it audibly.

• Tighten the screws (1)  .

• Fasten all cables (1)  to the holder of the DME control unit.

• Connect all connectors (1)  to the DME control unit starting in the back and audibly lock them in place.
