Remove the transmission wiring harness

- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
- Make sure that the vehicle does not lift off the mounting plates on the vehicle lift.

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.

- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

Transmission wiring harness
Precondition
Ignition is switched off.
- Unlock connector (1) and detach.
- Detach the transmission wiring harness (2)
from the clamps and set it aside.
- Unscrew the bolt (1) and remove the ground cable.
- Unlock the connector (2) and disconnect it from the air conditioning compressor.
- Detach the transmission wiring harness from the clamps and set it aside.
- Unlock connector (1) and remove from starter motor.
- Detach the transmission wiring harness from the clamps and set it aside.
- Unscrew the bolt (1) and remove the ground cable.
- Release connector (2) and disconnect from the transmission.
- Unlock connector (3) and detach from the VTG control unit.
- Detach, feed out and remove the transmission wiring harness from the clamps.
