Action in service

If additional faults are entered for the following components, these must be processed first:

• Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter.
• Hot film air mass meter.
• Intake pipe vacuum sensor.
• Intake air temperature sensor.
• Camshaft sensor.
• High-pressure fuel system.
• Low pressure fuel system.
• Check differentiated air intake system for tightness, while doing so check the following components as well:
  • Crankcase ventilation.
  • Oil cap.
  • Tank ventilation system.

Check exhaust system for leak tightness.

Replace injectors.
