Fault description

Diagnosis monitors the duration of the working cycles and compares it with the other cylinders by evaluating the engine speed signals (segment periods).

Fault monitoring conditions:

The fault is detected when the crankshaft during the working cycle of the respective cylinder is retarded compared to the other cylinders.
