51 71 482 Removing and installing/replacing left or right tension strut (on rear axle)

IMPORTANT: Observe safety information for raising the vehicle
Driving without the tension strut is not permitted!

Only on F12, F13:

Release expanding rivet (1) and remove cover (2).

Release screw (2) M12x1.5x53.

Tightening torque 51 61 12AZ .

Installation note:

Replace screw (2), tighten to specified torque and angle of rotation.

Release screw (3) M12x1.5x70.

Tightening torque 51 61 10AZ .

Installation note:

Replace screw (3), tighten to specified torque and angle of rotation.

Unscrew nuts (4).

Tightening torque 51 61 11AZ .

Remove tension strut (1).
