41 35 081 Removing And Installing Front Side Wall On Left: Notes

Observe 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove wheel arch covers. See WHEEL ARCH COVER (FRONT SECTION) and WHEEL ARCH COVER (REAR SECTION) .
• Depending on version: Unlock and disconnect plug connection for SIDE REPEATER and/or PMA
• Remove TRIM PANEL FOR COVER ON SIDE MEMBER
• Partially loosen BUMPER PANEL on the side
• Remove SEAL MOUNTING for engine compartment lid

Release screws.

Tightening torque 41 35 1AZ .

Tightening torque 41 35 2AZ .

Replacement 

Apply additional sealant to inside of front panel in area (1). Apply to area (1) based on shape of side wall to be replaced.

Material: SEALANT D1 .

Only vehicles with PMA 

Repair work in area (1) is not permitted.

Replace side wall.

For replacement,  only national-market version Japan:

Replace WHEEL ARCH TRIM  (1).
