Temperature related-precondition:

• Coolant temperature greater than 80 °C

Time related-precondition:

• None

Other preconditions:

The following applies for B38:

• Engine running.
• Difference between intake air temperature and coolant temperature at engine start less than the following limit value: 3 deg C
• Difference between intake air temperature and intake air temperature at engine start less than the following limit value: 5.25 °C

Following applies to all other versions:

• Engine running.
• Driving speed greater than 45 km/h.
• Air mass less than 200 kg/h.
• Intake air temperature between -10 °C and 60 °C.

Control unit voltage: 9 V to 16 V.
