Removing and installing/replacing the electric vacuum pump (PHEV)
WARNING:
High-voltage system - danger to life!
The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:
The following points must be strictly observed prior to starting work:
- Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for handling electric cars.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front left WHEEL ARCH COVER .
Removal:
Unlock and detach vacuum line (1).
Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Remove connector (3) from bracket.
Release screws (1) and feed out electrical vacuum pump (2).
Installation:
Feed in electric vacuum pump (2).
Insert screws (1) and tighten.
Tightening torque 34 33 3AZ .
Position vacuum line (1) and lock.
Attach connector (3) on the bracket.
Connect plug connection (2).
Required follow-up work:
- Install front left WHEEL ARCH COVER .
