Adjusting headlights
Comply with TEST PREREQUISITES for headlight adjustment.
Only for F30, F31, F35, F80:
Carry out headlight adjustment at adjusting screws (1) and (2).
- Adjustment screw primarily for vertical adjustment
- Adjusting screw primarily for lateral adjustment
- Adjust the height at the adjusting screw (1)
US version only:
Only carry out the setting of the lateral adjustment when the safety web in the adjusting screw for the lateral adjustment is MISSING OR IS DAMAGED .
If necessary, remove the damaged plug
- Make the lateral adjustment at the adjusting screw (2)
After headlight adjustment:
Perform reference run. For this purpose, switch off and on the headlights. Check again headlight adjustment.
US version only:
If the lateral adjustment is checked or corrected, press the new plug into the ADJUSTING SCREW FOR THE LATERAL ADJUSTMENT without any damage.
F34 only:
Carry out headlight adjustment at adjusting screws (1) and (2).
- Adjustment screw primarily for vertical adjustment
- Adjusting screw primarily for lateral adjustment
- Adjust the height at the adjusting screw (1)
US version only:
Only carry out the setting of the lateral adjustment when the safety web plug in the adjusting screw for the LATERAL ADJUSTMENT is missing or is damaged.
If necessary, remove damaged plug with suitable tool
- Make the lateral adjustment at the adjusting screw (2)
After headlight adjustment:
Perform reference run. For this purpose, switch off and on the headlights. Check again headlight adjustment.
US version only:
If the lateral adjustment is checked or corrected, press the new plug into the adjusting screw for the LATERAL ADJUSTMENT without any damage.
Only for F32, F33, F36, F82, F83:
Carry out headlight adjustment at adjusting screws (1) and (2).

- Adjusting screw primarily for lateral adjustment
- Adjust the height at the adjusting screw (1)
US version only:
Only carry out the setting of the lateral adjustment when the safety web in the adjusting screw for the LATERAL ADJUSTMENT is missing or is damaged.

- Make the lateral adjustment at the adjusting screw (2)

Perform reference run. For this purpose, switch off and on the headlights. Check again headlight adjustment.
US version only:
If the lateral adjustment was corrected, use a suitable tool to push a new plug using a suitable tool into the adjusting screw for the LATERAL ADJUSTMENT without damaging it.
