Replacing FLEL control unit

Attention! 

Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE PROTECTION .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove HEADLIGHT .

Removal: 

Release screws (1).

Remove Frontal Light Electronics control unit (2).

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Installation: 

Connect and lock the connector (1).

Installation note: 

Gasket (3) on control unit Frontal Light Electronics (2) should not be damaged or missing.

Install Frontal Light Electronics control unit (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 63 11 1AZ .

Required reworking: 

• Install HEADLIGHT .
• Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
