Action in service

• Measure the voltage at one of the sensors or actuators which are connected to the 5 V output 2 of the DME (see applicable wiring diagram).

If measured voltage is above 5.2 V there is a short circuit to B+:

Check the wiring harness between the 5 V output 2 of the DME and the sensors or actuators connected to it.

If measured voltage is less than 4.8 V:

Disconnect in succession the sensors or actuators which are connected to the 5 V output 2 of the DME and measure the voltage; if the voltage goes to 5 V, renew the relevant sensor

• Replace DME.
