Fault description

The diagnosis monitors the line for voltage supply to single-spark ignition coils from the load-shedding relay for ignition and fuel injection for open circuits/line disconnection and short circuits to ground.

Fault monitoring conditions:

This fault code is detected whenever there is no voltage at the DME input (E_U_IGN) although the load-shedding relay for ignition and fuel injection has engaged.
