17 11 000 Removing and installing radiator

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
WARNING: Risk of scalding!
Only perform this repair work after engine has cooled down.
IMPORTANT: Wear safety goggles and protective gloves.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Only vehicles with automatic transmission or twin-clutch gearbox: 

Release bolt and detach hose (1).

Only vehicles with automatic transmission or twin-clutch gearbox: 

Release bolt (1) and detach hose (2).

Loosen bolts (1) on radiator on left and right.

Tightening torque 17 10 2AZ .

Unlock and detach coolant hose (2).

Lift out module carrier (1) left to the top.

Feed out radiator (2) toward top and remove.

Installation note: 

When reinstalling the cooler and module carrier (1) the correct fit of the cooler in the bracket (2) must be ensured!

Reassemble the vehicle.

Check COOLING SYSTEM  for leaks.
