61 14 010 Removing and installing/renewing power distribution box (on battery)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE

Fold up covers (1). Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque: see 2AZ in 61 21 BATTERY WITH TERMINAL .

Unscrew nut (3).

Tightening torque: see 3AZ in 61 21 BATTERY WITH TERMINAL .

Disconnect plug connection (4).

Press locking brackets (1) downwards and unclip in direction of arrow.

If necessary, using a screwdriver, expand locking bracket (1) at lower end and clip out.

Remove power distribution box (2) towards top.
