52 17 027 Removing and installing/replacing pressure distributor for active passenger seat

NOTE: This removing/installing/replacing procedure applies to "Comfort" seat version.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Unscrew left and right nuts (1).

Remove carrier plate towards front from seat mechanism.

NOTE: Pressure distributor and pneumatic pockets form a single unit and can only be replaced as a single component.

Unlock plug connection (1) on drive and disconnect.

Unlock plug connection (2) on control unit and disconnect.

Unclip pressure distributor (1) in marked area.

Installation: 

Replace faulty clips.

Unclip pneumatic pockets (1) with supports on left and right from flex mat.

Feed pneumatic pockets (1) through flex mat towards bottom.

Open quick connector (1).

Feed out hose through fleece mat and backrest frame.
