51 37 000 Removing and installing / replacing complete rear left or right power window regulator

WARNING: Danger of injury!
Carry out work on the power window regulator only when the power window motor is de-energized.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear side window glass. See REPLACING REAR SIDE WINDOW GLASS (WITHOUT ROLLER SUN BLIND) or REPLACING REAR SIDE WINDOW GLASS (WITH ROLLER SUN BLIND) .

Slacken bolt (1).

Tightening torque 51 35 11AZ .

Release screws (4).

Tightening torque 51 35 2AZ .

Disconnect plug connection (5).

Feed out power window regulator (3).

Installation note:

Holder (2) must be correctly seated on inner door panel rail.

Make sure guide lug (2) of power windows (1) is correctly seated in recess of door structure.

Concluding tasks

Observe NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .

Replacement:

Swap over FLAT MOTOR FOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR .
