51 42... Punching contour for seat memory switch into rear door trim panel

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Position special tool 51 4 107 or 51 4 108 on the recess in the door trim panel storage compartment (1).

Mark cutouts (2).

Use special tool 51 4 109 to punch holes at the previously marked points in the door trim panel (1).

IMPORTANT: For punching work, special tools 51 4 103 and 51 4 104 must be used as the cutting equipment.

51 4 101 Slide special tool through holes stamped into door trim panel (1).

NOTE: Guide pins of punching tool are coded. Distortion is thus not possible.

51 4 105 Mount special tools and on punching tool 51 4 106 (1).

Compress punching tool (1) via spindle.

51 4 111 Press punching remnants with special tool from rear out of punching tool.

NOTE: This work step is necessary to prevent the cutting surfaces from being damaged during a renewed punching operation.
