51 11 370 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right trim strip

Special tools required:

00 9 317

Build date up to 07/2012:

Tape off bumper panel (2) in the working area.

Unclip trim strip (1) from the bumper panel (2) using special tool 00 9 317 and remove to the front.

Installation note:

Latch mechanisms on trim strip (1) must not be missing or damaged.

Version after 07/2012:

Tape off bumper panel in the working area.

Unclip trim strip (1) from the bumper panel using special tool 00 9 317 and remove to the front.

Installation note:

First feed in trim strip (1) with guide (2) into bumper panel, then clip in.

Latch mechanisms on trim strip (1) must not be missing or damaged.
