33 31 025 Removing and installing/replacing vibration absorber on side member

Necessary preliminary tasks
- Remove rear WHEEL ARCH SPLASH GUARD
Release nut (1) and remove vibration absorber (2) from holder.
Tightening torque, see 33 32 9AZ in 33 32 CONTROL ARMS AND STRUTS .
Installation:
Pay attention to lock washer (3) between collar nut and vibration absorber.
Replace screw and nut.
IMPORTANT:
- Groove (1) on the vibration absorber must be aligned horizontally to the holder corners!
