0000610 Service - engine oil (N63): Notes

The FRU item 00 00 610 comprises the engine oil service incl. supplementary service.
Only the engine oil service will be described in these repair instructions.
The supplementary service is made up of the following operations which must be taken from the relevant repair instructions:
- Carry out FUNCTION CHECK ON PARKING BRAKE
- Reset service interval indicator according to factory specification
IMPORTANT:
Perform engine oil service only when engine is at normal operating temperature (>70°C engine oil temperature).
Observe the exact engine oil filling capacity.
Overfilling the engine with engine oil will result in engine damage .
Inspection and drain-off times must be observed.

Carry out work on the vehicle only when wearing oil- and heat-resistant protective gloves incl. forearm protection, face guard and protective apron.
