61 35 115 Removing and installing/replacing footwell module
IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clamp off BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Unclip footwell module (2) at points (3).
Carefully pull footwell module (2) out of device holder (4) in direction of arrow.
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Remove footwell module (2).
Replacement:
Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
