52 13 025 Removing and installing/replacing left or right seat mechanism (normal/manual)

Remove BACKREST FRAME on front seat

Replacement only:

Remove seat cover See 5213400 Replacing seat cover on left or right front seat (normal/manual) or 5215400 Replacing seat cover for left or right front seat (sport/manual) for front seat
Remove SEAT BELT TENSIONER
Remove control unit for seat heating See 6135080 Removing and installing/replacing control unit/module for left or right seat adjustment or 6135095 Removing and installing/replacing control unit/module for seat heating

Seat mechanism is supplied complete with corresponding drive units.

Unlock plug housing (3) and remove from holder.

Disengage wiring harnesses from flexmat.

Installation:

Make sure wiring harnesses are laid correctly.

Observe bending radius and do not lay wiring harnesses tensioned.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 10 05AZ .

Remove holder (2) for control unit.

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 52 10 03AZ .

Remove belt buckle deflector trim (2).

Sport seat only:

Release screws (1).

Remove connection for thigh support.
