51 71 000 Removing and installing/replacing seal on front door, left or right

Pull joint seal (1) off door (2).

Installation:

If necessary, lever out clips (3) remaining in door.

If necessary, replace faulty clips (3).

Slide clips (3) into joint seal (1).

Clip joint seal (2) onto bodyshell.

Lever off side panel shaft seal (1) towards top and unclip.

Remove door seal (2) from body (3).

Installation:

Insert clip (2) in window cavity cover strip (1) if this remains on trim (3) during removal.

Clip window cavity cover strip (1) on trim (3) and body (4).

Lever off A-pillar seal (1) towards top.

Remove door seal (2) from body (3).

Installation:

Observe FITTING OF SEALS
