Removing and installing or replacing rear carpet on seat pan (X5 M)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove FRONT SEAT, PASSENGER'S SIDE (SPORT, ELECTRICAL) and FRONT SEAT, DRIVER'S SIDE (SPORT, ELECTRICAL) .
- Remove AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT .
- Remove ALL DOOR SILL COVER STRIPS .
- Remove REAR SEAT .
- Remove the REAR PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AIR DUCT .
- Remove FOOTWELL LIGHTS (on rear floor trim).
- Remove bottom left and right TRIM AT C-PILLAR .
Version with bass speaker:
- Remove CENTRAL BASS SPEAKER TRIM
on left/right.
Feel out all cables with cable clip and lay back.
Remove carpet (1).
Installation note:
Make sure openings for air duct and attachment points are correctly positioned.
