65 12 220 Removing and installing/replacing satellite tuner (only for US models starting at 09/2009)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove CAR INFOTAINMENT COMPUTER .
For equipment specification with head unit:
- Remove headunit . See 65 12 315 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) HU-H) or 65 12 320 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) HEADUNIT BASIS .
When replacing, please observe:
Note SID number (1) of the removed device.
NOTE:
The SID number (1) can be found on the label of the housing. Location may be different, depending on the equipment manufacturer.
Note SID number (1) of the new device in the same way.
Input enabling code from the Aftersales Assistance Portal, ASAP.
Replacement:
Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
NOTE:
Please contact Sirius. Use the SID number to cancel current device and register new one.
