12 14 513 Replacing pulse sensor on right exhaust camshaft (S63 B44 T 0)

(cylinder bank 1 to 4) 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Read out fault memory of the DME control unit, work through test plans if necessary.
• Switch off ignition.
• Remove right-hand INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING

Partially release wiring harness if necessary.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 13 62 3AZ .

Remove pulse generator (3).

Installation note: 

Replace sealing ring and coat with lubricant.
