51 16... Removing and installing/replacing side trim panels (carpet) on center console on left or right

Release screw (1).

Pull the trim panel (2) forward until the retaining clips disengage.

For F12/F13/F06 only: 

Lever clip (1) out of the front of the center console support (2).

Installation note: 

Retainers (3) must be correctly seated in panel guides (1).

For F12/F13/F06 only: 

Clip (2) must not be damaged or missing.
