51 71 382 Removing and installing/replacing rear trailing links

IMPORTANT: Observe SAFETY INFORMATION for raising the vehicle
Driving without the trailing link is not permitted!

Release screws (1).

Remove cover (2).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 61 17AZ .

Unfasten screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 61 16AZ .

Remove trailing link (3).

NOTE: Carry out work on the left side in the same way as for the right side illustrated here.
