52 26 008 Removing and installing/replacing backrest side section on left or right rear seat backrest

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Remove the seat belt strap (1) from the working area.

Lightly push the backrest side section (1) toward the center of the vehicle.

Press special tool 2 298 504 onto the lock (1) to release the backrest side section (2).

Pull the backrest side section (2) out toward the top.

Installation:

Slide the mounting (1) into the guide (2).

Push the backrest side section (1) in the direction of the arrow until the clip (2) can be heard latching.
