Key processes 

1. Removing the trim panel for pedal mechanism 

   Loosen screws 1.

   Unclip trim panel for pedal mechanism.

   Slightly lower the trim panel for pedal mechanism and disconnect the plug connections behind it.

2. Installing the trim panel for the pedal mechanism 

   Check 

   • Check the clamps 1 and guides 2 for damage.

   desired state 

   • No cracks or fractures.

   Result 

   • Clamps 1 or guides 2 are damaged.

   Measure 

   • Renew the clamps or the pedal mechanism trim panel.
   • Connect connector.
   • Feed in trim panel for the pedal mechanism in the area of the bulkhead and in the area of the center console into the guides.
   • Install the trim panel for the pedal mechanism and press until the clips engage.
   • Tighten the screws 1.
   TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS
   
   

   Trim panel for the pedal mechanism on the support for the instrument panel
   	4.6 Nm
