51 71 373 Removing and installing/replacing trailing link on spring strut dome
IMPORTANT:
Driving without the trailing link is not permitted.
(risk of damage to the body).
(risk of damage to the body).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove COVER IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT on the left and right
Lever out covers (1) and release screws underneath.
Release screws (2) and remove trailing link (3).
Tightening torque: 51 61 1AZ
Installation note:
Replace screws and tighten to specified torque and then to angle of rotation.
