51 43 230 Removing and installing/replacing trim on C-pillar at bottom left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove BELT OUTLET TRIM 
• Remove ENTRANCE COVER STRIP 
• Remove backrest. See REPLACING BACKREST FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT or REPLACING BACKREST FOR REAR SEAT .

Release plastic nuts (1).

Release plastic nuts (1).

Lever out clip (2).

Unclip trim.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty clip and retainers on trim.

Make sure trim is correctly seated in seal.
