Action in service

Following applies to all other versions:

Check wires and plug connections between the following components:

• DME.
• Cutoff relay, electric fan.

Check cutoff relay:

• Ignition off (no after-run of the electric fan): at both screw connections 0 V.

• Ignition on: at both screw connections approx. 12 V.
• Supply of the two plug connections with 12 V: Relay switches.
• Supply of the two plug connections with 12 V: Continuity between the two screw connections.

If necessary, renew cutoff relay.

• Engine control unit.
• Electric fan.

• Ignition off (no after-run of the electric fan): at both screw connections 0 V.
• Ignition on: at both screw connections approx. 12 V.

• Supply of the two plug connections with 12 V: Continuity between the two screw connections.
