11 28 020 Removing and installing/replacing belt tensioner for alternator (N57 Diesel)

Special tools required: 

• 11 3 340 .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 28 1AZ .

Remove belt tensioner (2) with roller and deflecting element.

Assemble engine.

If the tensioning device is no longer needed, special tool 11 3 340 must be removed using a vice.
