Following applies to B38 I12:

• If the supply voltage is missing, continue troubleshooting in the PDM (KL15N).

Check wires and plug connections between the following components:

• DME
• VANOS solenoid valve
• Replace the VANOS solenoid valve.

Following applies to all other versions:

Check wires and plug connections between the following components:

• DME
• VANOS solenoid valve, exhaust

Replace VANOS solenoid valve, exhaust.
