Action in service
- Check whether throttle valve is in de energized condition in case of an opening angle of about 8° (almost closed).
- Check wiring harness between DME and electromotive throttle controller.
- Activate electromotive throttle controller and observe rotational speed of the throttle valve.
- Visual inspection of throttle valve and air intake duct for dirt contamination.
- Check by manually actuating the throttle valve to ensure that it can move easily across its entire range of travel.
- Replace the electromotive throttle actuator.
