13 71 165 Removing lower clean air pipe (N20 hybrid drive)

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life
Compliance with the following points is mandatory before beginning work:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Unlock and detach lock (1).

Release vent hose (2) and place to side.

Unlock and disconnect plugs (3).

Unlock and release tank ventilation line (4).

Release nut (1) below bottom clean air pipe (2).

Pull off, thread out and remove bottom clean air pipe (2) from exhaust turbocharger.

Check gasket, renew damaged gasket.

Installation:

Thread in clean air pipe (2) and install.

Tighten nut (1).

Tightening torque 13 71 5AZ .

Connect and lock tank ventilation line (4).

Tank ventilation line (4) must snap audibly into place.

Thread in vent hose (2) and install.

Lock (1) must snap audibly into place.

Connect and lock connector (3).

Connector (3) must snap audibly into place.
