52 26 000 Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear seat (Comfort)

Removal procedure for the right rear seat is analogue to that for the left rear seat shown here.

Unclip the cover (1) on the left and right in the direction of the arrow.

Installation note:

Replace faulty cover.

Release screws (1) on left and right.

Tightening torque 52 26 01AZ .

Version without 3rd row of seats:

Pull the tab (1) on the left and right.

Fold rear seat forwards.

Unlock the rear seat and fold it forwards.

Release screw (1).

Remove cover in direction of arrow.

Fold the backrest towards the front.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 01AZ .

Unlock PLUG CONNECTION (1) and disconnect.

Attention!

Risk of damage!

Protect side sill and door sill area with protective covers.

Push rear seat forward (guide pin out of guide).

Lift rear seat out of the vehicle with the help of a second person.
