67 31 570 Removing and installing/replacing drive unit for head restraint height adjustment on left or right front seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove CRASH-ACTIVE HEADREST
- Remove the backrest cover in the head restraint area. See DRIVER'S SEAT BACKREST COVER (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) , FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BACKREST COVER (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) , DRIVER'S SEAT BACKREST COVER (SPORT) , or FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BACKREST COVER (SPORT) .
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 67 31 3AZ .
Feed out drive unit for head restraint height adjustment (3) in direction of arrow and remove.
NOTE:
- Carry out FUNCTION CHECK WITH ADAPTER CABLE
- INITIALIZE drive unit for head restraint height adjustment.
