37 14 515 Replacing rear left or right ride height sensor

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) !

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release nut (2) and disconnect jointed rod.

Tightening torque 37 14 4AZ .

Installation note: 

Sensor lever (3) must point from ride height sensor to respective rear wheel.

Replace self-locking nut.

Release screws (1) and remove ride height sensor (3).

Tightening torque 37 14 2AZ .

Installation note: 

Only on F15/F16/F85/F86 vehicles: 

Holder (1) of the ride height sensor must be mounted on the axle support in such a way that the area marked in the image (1) and (2) has the maximum size!

Non-compliance can lead to fault message and vehicle inclination.

Replacement:

Release screws (1). Detach holder (2) from ride height sensor.

Tightening torque 37 14 3AZ .

After installation:
