13 71 030 Removing and installing/replacing both intake silencer housings (N63)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Description for intake silencer housing. Procedure for the right side is identical.

Release clamps (1).

Tightening torque 13 62 9AZ .

Unfasten connector (2) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.

Release clamp (3).

Unclip the oxygen sensor cable from the intake filter housing.

Detach intake air filter housing from intake port, pull off upwards and remove.
