64 11 943 Replacing evaporator temperature sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove trim panel for pedal assembly . See 51 45 184 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM (ECE ONLY) or 51 45 184 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM (US ONLY)
NOTE:
For purposes of clarity, picture shows heating and air-conditioning unit removed.
Disconnect plug connection (1) from evaporator temperature sensor.
Pull evaporator temperature sensor with flat-nose pliers out of heating and air-conditioning unit housing (1).
