52 26 020 Removing and refitting/replacing both rear seat backrests

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove ARMREST SIDE SECTION
Remove REAR SEAT

NOTE: A helper is required for the removal and installation of the backrest.

Left backrest:

Undo screw (1)
Tightening torque: 52 26 01AZ .
Fold backrest forward slightly
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount

Installation note:

Replace screw (1).

Right backrest:

Undo screw (1)
Tightening torque: 52 26 01AZ .
Fold backrest forward slightly
Pull backrest forwards and outwards out of center mount

Installation note:

Replace screw (1).
