63 21 030 Removing and installing/replacing left socket housing for rear light (on side wall)

WARNING: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove REAR LIGHT

Release catches (1).

Remove socket housing (2) from rear light (3).

Installation note:

Catches (1) must not be damaged or missing.

Make sure socket housing (2) is correctly seated on rear light (3).

Installation note:

Seal (3) on socket housing (2) must not be missing or damaged.

Replacement:

Carefully press down bulb (1) into socket housing (2), turn in direction of arrow and remove from socket housing (2).

Note BULB TYPE .
