51 49 017 Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear window frame trim panel

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove TRIM PANEL FOR REAR WINDOW FRAME at top

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Release trim panel (1) at clips (2) with special tool 00 9 325 .

Installation note:

Guide (1) and clips (2) of trim panel (3) must not be damaged or missing.

If necessary, replace clips (2).

Replacement

Modify clamps (2).
