Handle tools and components carefully.

Remove decorative trim on center console
- For equipment specification with in leather instrument panel: Attach plastic adhesive tape (2) between decorative trim (1) and instrument panel.

- Detach decorative trim (1) with special tool 0 496 571 (00 9 327) from clamps (2) .
- If necessary, unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.
- Remove decorative trim (1) upwards.

Installing the decorative trim to center console
TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The controller may have to be remounted upon replacing the decorative trim, depending on the equipment specification.

- Replace faulty clamps (1) of the decorative trim (2) .

- Clip in the decorative trim (1) at the latch mechanisms (2) .
