61 62 030 Removing and installing/replacing wiper arm on rear window

Fold up protective cap (1) in direction of arrow.

If necessary, spread internal fixtures (2) as illustrated and remove protective cap (1).

Fixture (1) and latch mechanisms (2) of protective cap (3) must not be damaged.

Erect wiper arm (1).

Release nut (2) and detach wiper arm (1).

Tightening torque 61 62 1AZ .

Installation note:

Wiper motor must be in its end position.

Set dimension (A) to between middle of wiper arm and rear window edge.

Vehicle series:	Dimension (A)
F11	30 mm
F31	40 mm

Tighten nut of wiper arm with specified torque.

Tightening torque 61 62 1AZ

Check wiper blade for damage and replace if necessary.
