41 12 654 Replacing Right Luggage Compartment Floor (Rear Side Panel And Tail Panel Removed)

Use only approved SPOT-WELDING APPARATUS for repairs.

The following new body parts are required:

(1) Luggage compartment floor, right

Removal

Mark severance cut (1) next to reinforcement (2) and disconnect.

Open welded connections in area (3).

Open welded connections in area (1) and remove luggage compartment floor (2).

New part preparation

Mark severance cut on luggage compartment floor in accordance with severance cut on vehicle + 15 mm for extra material and cut.

Adjust luggage compartment floor in combination with side panel and tail panel to fit.

Prepare luggage compartment floor for joining by welding.

NOTE: The luggage compartment floor is completely joined using the welding method when the side panel and/or tail panel are not replaced at the same time.

Installation

Install new part and weld.
