65 50 030 Removing and installing/replacing TV module

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

NOTE: Follow instructions for HANDLING OPTICAL FIBRES .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Clamp off BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove TRIM FROM REAR APRON .

Lever out expansion rivets (1).

Release screw (2).

Remove lashing eye (3).

Press wheel arch panel (4) carefully to the side.

Installation:

Make sure luggage compartment wheel arch panel (2) and rubber seal are correctly seated.

Release screws (1).

Remove TV module (2) with bracket.

Unlock plug connections (1) and (2) and disconnect.

Replacement:

Release screws (3).

Remove TV module (4) from bracket.
